Digital servo
converter of the DSV series are suited to drive ENGEL Three-phase
Synchronous and ENGEL Brushless Permanent-Magnet-Motors. In
addition to torque and speed control they are equipped with
a positioning system. The devices evaluate resolver signals
to measure the rotor position - sinusoidal currents provide
for steady torque.
Optionaly
sensorless drive control making use of Prof. Schrödl´s INFORM-Method
is possible. The INFORM-Method allows positioning and speed
control down to standstill.
The DSV devices
feature a CAN interface enabling them to be used in DeviceNet
and CANopen networks.
